Background
A unique concept
The building concept is unique since it doesn’t need cast foundations. Furthermore, it uses building elements with a special sandwich-
construction made of concrete and Styrofoam.The thin layer of concrete and rebar makes this a low weight system compared to standard concrete building elements, and giv es a highly efficient low-energy building with no cold bridges.
Modular production
Building elements for many types of houses can be produced. The production is truly scaleable and can handle high volumes. For a secure, fast and efficient building process, the building elements come with pre-installed systems for a functional home:
– Electric cables
– Fresh and waste water piping
– Ventilation and heating system
– Windows and indoor stairs
The Return Village concept
The typical Return Village consists of 3 x 18 units (3 bedroom), accomodating 108-324 residents (2-6 people in each of the 79 m2 units). It also includes a central service facility unit with laundry, work and social areas. Our Return Village concept can be multiplied,
extended and rearranged according to specific local needs and build site conditions.
Capacity example
Example house: Two storeys, 2 x 79 m2 living area.
Production time: Multiple teams work simultaneously with production and build – allowing for a high paced production with multiple deliveries
per week.
Transport time: Depends on location (factory just
50 km from border).
On-site build time: Approx. 1-2 days per 79 m2
unit. Weather proof in a day, turnkey in 4-5 days.

Please note that Vision Housing’s factory and production was built and specified to manufacture houses for the Scandinavian market – meeting EU and Scandinavian standards and regulations regarding energy efficiency, sustainability and environmental impact.

SURFACE REQUIREMENTS: No cast foundation needed. The standard foundation needed for a build is a flat surface of gravel and two pre-fabricated concrete soles immersed in the gravel
